Repent
God’s Word comes to the children of
Israel through the prophets who announce
that unless they turn from their idolatry back
to God, judgment will come upon them and
they will once again be dominated by the
nations. The prophets fail to bring Israel to
repentance and judgment will come. God’s
final Word to Israel through the prophets is
of the coming “Seed of the Woman” who will
free the children of Israel from the
oppression of the nations, destroy the
Serpent, remove the curse of death, and
reestablish the rule of God by His
representative ruler through the nation of
Israel on earth.
