Back to Bondage
God’s Word comes to pass, and
unrepentant Israel is once again put in
subjection to the nations. The equipping
that Israel received to fulfill the national
promise made to Abram is removed as
God’s special dwelling leaves them, their
king is deposed, and they are removed
from the land from which they were to
rule from. They are now unable to follow
God’s Law due to their bondage in foreign
lands. Israel’s only hope is the coming
“Seed of the Woman” who will deliver
them from the oppression of the nations,
destroy the Serpent, remove the curse of
death, and reestablish the rule of God by
His representative ruler through Israel on
earth.
