The Law Repeated
God’s Word comes to the new
generation of the children of Israel
through His representative Moses. Israel
is once again given the Law so that once
they enter the land, they will be able to
operate based on the true knowledge of
God’s character through the revelation
of His Word. Provision is made within
the law for special representatives of
God to ensure that Israel does not cease
from following the Word of God. These
officials appear as judges, priests, kings,
and prophets. God appoints Joshua to
replace Moses as His representative over
Israel, and Joshua is to lead the new
generation into the land from which they
will rule the nations by God’s Word.
