The Law
God’s Word comes to the children of Israel
through His representative Moses and bestows
upon them a legal system which informs Israel
how they are to function nationally as His
special people. This Law provides Israel with
the ability to operate based on the true
knowledge of God’s character from His wisdom
given through His Word. Since this Law is based
on the character of God, the “Seed of the
Woman” will be distinguished upon His arrival
as perfectly representing this Law. By creating a
nation from the children of Israel, delivering
them from the rule of foreign nations, dwelling
with them, and providing a governing system so
that Israel will know how to function nationally
as His special people, God is beginning to fulfill
His national promise to Abram.
