God’s Solution…
God through His Word reveals the
program that He is instituting to restore the
representative rule that Adam has failed to maintain.
This program involves the birth of One who will come
forth as the “Seed of the Woman,” one who will
execute judgment on the Serpent and restore rule to
God. God promises conflict in perpetuity between
those who hope in His program and those who side
with the Serpent in opposing God’s program.
God explains that this conflict will begin
between the Serpent and the woman and will persist
through their offspring until this “new Adam,” the
“Seed of the Woman,” arrives. The “Seed of the
Woman” will be struck by the Serpent, but will also
destroy the Serpent, remove the curse of death, and
reestablish the rule of God through His chosen
representative on earth.
