The Happy Ending
The “Seed of the Woman,” Jesus, returns
and establishes God’s rule on the earth. He
delivers Israel from their oppression, gathers
them to the land God promised to Abram, and
judges the nations. He crushes the Serpent, and
banishes him to a lake of fire along with all of his
children who, in the wisdom and character of the
Serpent, opposed the completion of God’s
program through His promised “Seed of the
Woman.” He removes the curse of death, and
resurrects all who hoped in God’s program. The
“Seed of the Woman” acts as God’s perfect
representative ruler, reflecting God’s character,
adhering to God’s wisdom, and fulfilling God’s
original promise to Abram by ruling through
Israel on earth.
